Job Title: Technical Product Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. Act as a primary liaison between product and engineering teams
  2. Manage and review product requirements within the team and provide feedback to product management and other stakeholders
  3. Define engineering user stories, maintain and prioritize product backlog.
  4. Determine tasks for the developers / engineering team based on the product prioritization.
  5. Keep a good communication framework across the company through documentation
  6. Collaborate with product, design, engineering and architecture teams to translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  7. Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  8. Continuously evaluate product development progress through each phase and determine if the final deliverable meets or exceeds the expectations and is ready to be delivered.
  9. Continuous improvement of product delivery processes
  10. Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  11. Consistently apply and coach significant knowledge of Agile / Lean within the development and product team.

Job Qualifications

  1. B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field.
  2. 3+ years experience on technology-powered products as a Product Owner, ideally with Software-as-a-Service offerings.
  3. Experience delivering software products using Agile / Scaled-Agile methodology.
  4. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to communicate and collaborate with co-workers in different countries.

Desired:

  1. Experience in Process Control and/or Automation
  2. Software developer or QA in a previous role
  3. Agile Certification (CSM or CSPO)
  4. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or virtualization
  5. Experience with Atlassian suite and Jenkins
  6. Worked with an international team.
