Job Position: Technical Sales Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Establishing new clients for the sale of the company product range
  2. Maintaining existing relationships of the company and ensuring maximum value both to clients and the company.
  3. Managing & Interpreting customer expectations
  4. Technical presentations to clients on product range and demonstrating how products would meet client needs.
  5. Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
  6. Calculating and closing out customer quotations
  7. Negotiating tender and contract terms.
  8. Offering after-sales support services
  9. Analyzing costs and sales and margins thereof
  10. General administration of client accounts
  11. Providing new business ideas and development.
  12. Preparation of Reports
  13. Preparation of annual budget and quarterly Budget performance review.
  14. Meeting the annual budget target for the year.
  15. Perform other functions as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements
A good First Degree in any of the following:

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Petroleum Engineering
  • Polymer Engineering.

Professional Requirements:

  • Experience: 1 – 5 years post-qualification experience in the Oil & Gas Industry (Midstream and Downstream) and most especially the Engine Oil additives and Lubricants industry.
