Job Position: Technical Writer
Job Location: Maryland, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user manuals, installation guides, and other technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze information.
- Create and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Organize and manage documentation projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Review and revise existing documentation to improve clarity and usability.
- Create visual aids such as diagrams, screenshots, and flowcharts to enhance understanding.
- Stay updated on product changes and industry trends to ensure documentation is current.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
- Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word).
- Familiarity with content management systems and HTML is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- To be considered for this role, the candidate must have expertise as a technical writer in a software company.
Preferred Skills:
