Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned ethical Tele-Collections Agent to join our growing Loans Team.

As a TCA you will support the Team with all lending and recovery functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage recovery of overdue loan ethically (make calls to defaulting Members daily)
  • Following up with Members daily on previous payment redemption date
  • Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans
  • Thoroughly understand assigned portfolio and product
  • Plan a course of action in addition to tele-collections,  to recover overdue loans (engage in field visits to Members location as the need arises)
  • Maintain a schedule of all call logs with clear feedback from Members
  • Handle and escalate Members’ questions or complaints accordingly (follow up with all positive feedback twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays)
  • Meet monthly debt recovery targets
  • All other day to day tasks as required

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working as a Tele-Collections Agent, Loan Recovery Officer or Credit Officer
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable educational institution (in Accounting, Finance or Business discipline is preferred)
  • Experience in FinTech Loans Management
  • Knowledge and working experience of Excel and Google Sheets
  • Able to work effectively and productively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor, measure and report
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
  • Confident with a strong sense of judgement
  • Ability to apply strategy and tactics to recover overdue loans ethically
  • Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines independently and as part of a Team

Key Requirements

  • Must be based in Yaba, or surrounding areas
  • Immediate start

Salary
₦80,000 – ₦100,000 Monthly (Based On Experience) + Commission
