Job Position: Telesales Executive

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales leads and converting them into customers over the phone.
  2. He/she will engage with potential customers, provide information about products or services, address inquiries, and close sales deals.
  3. Telesales Executives will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and contributing to the growth and profitability of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Contact potential customers via telephone to promote products or services.
  2. Identify and qualify sales leads through cold calling, warm calling, and follow-up calls.
  3. Present and explain product or service information to customers.
  4. Address customer inquiries, provide accurate and relevant information, and resolve any concerns or issues.
  5. Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  6. Maintain customer databases and update customer information.
  7. Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and techniques.
  8. Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to the sales manager.
  9. Continuously update product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends and competitors.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND.
  • 3 (minimum) years of a proven experience in telesales, preferably in the telecommunication industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Training or certification in sales techniques or customer service is a plus.

  3. Active listening skills to understand customer needs and preferences.
  4. Resilience and ability to handle rejection.
  5. Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Knowledge Required:

  1. Understanding of sales principles and techniques.
  2. Familiarity with the products or services being offered.
  3. Knowledge of customer service practices.
  4. Basic knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitors.

Salary
N150,000 (Gross).
