Job Position: Territory Sales Representative

Job Location: Jos, Plateau

Job Description

  • Territory Sales Rep for Jos will be in charge of developing the Customer base in Jos, Benue, Nasarawa, Bauchi, Gombe and environs and translating potentials into Sales revenue in the market.
  • He will cover all key customers and markets within Jos and environs to create demand and handle all other marketing and sales related activities for Agro-Allied brands.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for identifying key customers for our consumable projects.
  2. Ensure understanding of their local needs, behaviors; buying patterns.
  3. Enumerate all open markets and HSM within territory, and develop a customer database within them for Refined consumer soya oil and Rice.
  4. Develop a journey plan with the database to ensure daily customer visits.
  5. Apply sales and marketing skills in converting potential customers/sales leads to paying customers/demand.
  6. Responsible for depletion of all inventory of Ric SBM in the Makurdi warehouse to drive territory targets.
  7. Understand how to retain customers through good customer relationship management.
  8. Implement all tactical plans geared towards upselling, including promotions and branding activations.
  9. Executing appropriate programmes and obtaining consumers; feedback for all new solutions.
  10. Follow up with customer payment for both cash and credit customers, within stipulated lead times.
  11. Manage all customer issues towards building a sustainable relationship for growth.
  12. Collaborate with Logistics and Accounts QA to ensure delivery of quality products to customers and handling all customer complaints, where necessary.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of a B.Sc
  2. Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years with at least 3 years in commodity business, preferably Soybean and Rice value chain.
  3. Proactive self-starter.
  4. Integrity; independent mind, and able to work under pressure.
  5. Highly organized and significant ability to multi-task effectively.
  6. Ability to work with all levels of the team with minimal and reasonable conflicts.
