Job Position: Trainee Portfolio Manger

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  1. Market loan products and process loan applications for SME Customers.
  2. Daily engagement with customers for repayments.
  3. Interview loan applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of repayment of loans.
  4. Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up loan payment plans.
  5. Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions.
  6. Opening loan applications Conducting loan analysis by visiting the business and household of clients.
  7. Visiting the business /employer of guarantors and preparing a complete loan assessment according to the bank’s credit procedures.
  8. Presenting loan proposals to the credit units and informing the client about the decision of the credit units.
  9. Ensuring punctual repayments of acquired loans from clients, contacting and visiting all parties based on needs
  10. Ensuring high quality standards of the bank’s credit portfolio.
  11. Ability to meet and exceed targets while actively working to increasing business portfolio and client’s base.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of OND in Marketing or related field.
  2. Minimum of 1 year cognate experience from a reputable Microfinance Bank.
  3. Good knowledge of Abuja markets.
  4. Ability to disburse SME Loans in large volumes without default.
  5. Experienced in repayment tracking and loan collection without a day default.
