Job Position: Training Coordinator

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. Map out annual training plans for management, HR, customer support and more
  2. Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house)
  3. Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)
  4. Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions
  5. Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  6. Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
  7. Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials
  8. Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs
  9. Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
  10. Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design
  11. Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
  12. Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
  13. Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
  14. Research and recommend new training methods, like gamification.

Job Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years of experience as a Training Specialist or similar role
  • 3 years of experience with designing training programs and workshops
  • Ability to lead a full training cycle
  • Knowledge of various training and teaching methods
  • Good knowledge of talent management and succession planning methods.

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 Monthly Gross, HMO, Pension, Paid leave.
