Job Position: Utility Engineer
Job Location: Ota, Ogun
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all utility and facility equipment are maintained in a “Safe to operate” condition at all times while promoting all aspects of safe working practices to meet all safety and housekeeping objectives of the plant.
- To optimize the utilities for the Manufacturing process through provision of uninterrupted Power, Air, Cooling and Water.
- To plan, organize and control Utility projects
- Identify issues and opportunities for improvement through modifications and upgrades.
- Manage changes in process requirements brought by changes in product specifications and productivity requirements.
- Communications – provide relevant and timely communications to line manager and others as required
- Support and manage cost structures in line with the budget.
KPIs:
- Generate periodic maintenance reports.
- Generate periodic reports on facility management
- Generate periodic report on diesel administration
- Generate periodic report on scrap items
- Generate periodic report on stock of equipment.
Job Requirements
- ND / HND / B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years work experience as a Utility Engineer in FMCG
- Strong knowledge of food milling, food extrusion, packaging equipment and packaging processes
- Ability to weld and use basic workshop tools (multimeter, grinder, driller, etc.)
- Professional certification would be an added advantage
- Age: 30 – 35.
