Job Position: Visual Designer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with internal teams to define user interface requirements
  2. Combine various colors, shapes and typography fonts to improve user experience
  3. Paint by hand and use drawing applications to design original graphics
  4. Use visual design software to refine illustrations
  5. Apply sketching techniques, like gradients and contrasts to enhance digital images
  6. Present rough drafts to product managers and/or key stakeholders to gain approval
  7. Develop prototypes and models to use in various products to maximize aesthetic consistency
  8. Brainstorm new ideas, layouts and graphics
  9. Stay up-to-date with design application changes and industry developments

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc Degree in Design, Visual Arts or any relevant qualification
  2. Attention to visual details
  3. Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
  4. Ability to meet deadlines while working on team projects
  5. Hands-on experience with image editing and digital sketching software, like Photoshop, Indesign and Adobe Illustrator
  6. Portfolio of related works (e.g. logos, animations and graphics)
  7. Proven work experience as a Visual Designer, UI Designer or similar role.
