Job Position: Waitress
Job Location: Warri, Delta
Job Description
- The duties and responsibilities of a Waitress include welcoming and seating guests, taking guest orders, communicating them effectively to the kitchen and in addition, memorizing the menu, and offering recommendations to sell appetizers, desserts, or drinks up.
Job Responsibilities
- Greeting guests and taking drink and food orders
- Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area
- Delivering food from the kitchen to the guests
- Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests
Job Requirements
- SSCE or equivalent.
- At least one year experience as a food server within a restaurant, hotel, or conference center
- Must have clear written and verbal communication skills
- Must have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description
- Must be able to handle cash transactions responsibly
- Must be able to consolidate and coordinate needs for all tables within their station
- Must be able to carry food and beverages
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Any related customer service / oriented experience will be considered
- Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate in fluent English.
