Warehouse Manager at Starsight Energy

1. The warehouse manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling, and managing warehouse operations, including transportation, inventory management and ensuring compliance with company warehouse procedures.
2. The goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment, supervise the receipt, dispatching, and storage of equipment in our warehouse.
3. The ideal candidate will also oversee reporting, security, maintenance, and administrative functions.
4. To ensure success candidate needs to be highly organized, multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes profits and have strong leadership skills.

Job Responsibilities

1. Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
2. Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and site deployment operations.
3. Implementing operational policies and procedures.
4. Implementing and overseeing security operations.
5. Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
6. Ensuring the safety of staff.
7. Review layout and ensure efficient space utilization
8. Prepare and take responsibility for warehouse annual budget
9. Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
10. Planning logistics for equipment deployment
11. Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing warehouse and inventory information and trends.
12. Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
13. Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees

Job Requirements

1. 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
2. Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
3. Solid knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
4. Analytical and inquisitive mind
5. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong work ethics and time management skills;
8. Strong people skills
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel PowerPoint and Word)
