Job Position: Warehouse Officer

Job Location: Makurdi, Benue

Job Purpose

  • The warehouse head will monitor, track, and ensure products are delivered to various channels as at when due with the lowest possible cost and to ensure zero wastages. He will also propose efficiency improvements for all processes with potentials to lead to future wastages

Job Responsibilities

  1. Offloading Time per Truck
  2. Ensure proper documentation of goods receipt
  3. Ensure Compliance to stacking guidelines
  4. 100% adherence to FIFO principle of stock issuance every day
  5. 100% adherence to stock transfer process
  6. Inventory Accuracy, bookkeeping and data management
  7. Periodic stock count
  8. Warehouse space utilization
  9. Orderliness of Labour
  10. Enforcement of offloading & loading guideline
  11. Resolved issues with partners – Labours, drivers, etc within 24 hours
  12. Ensure conformity to best HSE practice
  13. Relationship management with the HSPs
  14. 3rd Party truck management
  15. Outbound Documentations (Waybill issued, Truck details, Driver information etc)
  16. Ensure truck loading time is 1hour
  17. Ensure each order contains the right products ordered
  18. Ensure Zero stock damages per loading
  19. Provide update on shipment on transit per time
  20. Investigate and provide feedback on shortages/damages that may occur while on transit

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any related field with a minimum of second class upper
  • 3-5 years experience in warehousing.
  • Age Requirement: 24 – 30 Years

Required Skills / Abilities:

  1. Excellent organization and planning skills to prioritize and balance work
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure.
  4. Must Have Commodity seed management experience,
  5. Computer proficient, with experience in MS Excel, Project, and Word.
