Job Description
- We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer with expertise in PHP and WordPress to join our dynamic team in Abuja.
- As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly, responsive, and aligned with our organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and WordPress.
- Design and implement new features and functionality.
- Ensure high performance and availability of our websites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website problems.
- Perform website updates and maintenance tasks.
- Optimize websites for speed and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our websites are modern and competitive.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio of PHP and WordPress projects.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Experience with WordPress themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the public health sector or with health-related web projects.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Experience with API integrations.
- Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
