Job Position: Web Developer Instructor

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Bring the learning experience to life by building community and enhancing relevance by drawing on your own industry experience
  2. Supporting our students by providing feedback, mentoring and career support
  3. Provide all students with high-quality teaching
  4. Maintain knowledge of all new trends and recommend improvements to assist students in the learning/teaching process
  5. Perform regular assessments of students, and evaluate their performance
  6. Design and update all instructional materials for IT programs or courses and recommend updates to instructional materials
  7. Increase participant engagement using different facilitation tactics
  8. Give projects to students to test what has been learned

Job Requirements

  1. BSc / HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or relevant fields
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  3. Good organization and multi-tasking abilities
  4. Teaching experience will be an added advantage.
  5. You have proven experience in full stack development
  6. You are familiar with (most) of the focus area technologies in our curriculum, mainly: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React/NextJs, SCSS/SASS, NodeJS/ExpressJS/NestJS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, REST, Github, AWS. Having knowledge of other relevant stack is a plus
  7. Good understanding of CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud Computing
  8. You are excited about helping people to learn
  9. You are good at explaining technical concepts to students
  10. You speak fluent English
  11. Previous experience of leading a team is a plus
