Job Position: WordPress Developer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. This is a full-time on-site role for a WordPress Developer located in Lagos.
  2. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites, updating existing WordPress websites, troubleshooting website issues, and ensuring website security and speed.
  3. In addition, the WordPress Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and provide customized solutions, as well as participate in the development of new website features and plugins.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field
  2. Minimum of three years of experience in WordPress development
  3. Experience with WordPress plugins and themes, as well as PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  4. Experience with website optimization, website security, and website speed optimization
  5. Experience with website hosting, website migration, and website integration with third-party platforms
  6. Knowledge of website analytics and website SEO best practices
  7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  8. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
