Job Position: WordPress Developer / Content Writer

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer/Content Writer to join our creative team.

If you are passionate about building sleek, functional websites and crafting engaging content that ranks, this role is perfect for you. You’ll work closely with our SEO and marketing teams to design and optimise websites while producing content that drives traffic and conversions.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites for clients across different industries.
  2. Customise WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
  3. Implement SEO best practices into websites and content for maximum visibility.
  4. Write clear, engaging, and optimised blog posts, landing pages, and web copy.
  5. Collaborate with the design, SEO, and marketing teams to deliver integrated digital solutions.
  6. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth site performance.
  7. Manage website updates, backups, and security.

Requirements

  1. Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, IT, Communications, or related fields preferred).
  2. Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio of past projects.
  3. Strong content writing skills with the ability to produce SEO-friendly articles and web copy.
  4. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic PHP is a plus.
  5. Familiarity with SEO tools (Yoast SEO, RankMath, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) is an advantage.
  6. Strong command of English with excellent writing and editing skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  8. Reliable internet connection, laptop, and ability to work remotely.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience in website speed optimisation and technical SEO.
  2. Knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Figma) is an added advantage.
  3. Comfortable collaborating with international clients and teams.
  4. Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.

Remuneration Package

Your monthly earnings will range from N100,000 to N150,000, depending on experience and performance.
