Job Position: XT / WH / IWOCS Lead Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. Provide specialist technical support and engineering lead to the Wellhead/XT & IWOCS Engineers to ensure compliance of package designs, test regimes and documentation within contract basis of design during FEED and subsequent EPCI phases of the project.
  2. Provide technical support the SPS/Drilling interface engineering scope of work ensuring that designs are in alignment with rig specific requirements.
  3. Technical lead for all documents relating to wellheads, XT & IWOCS consolidating all comments from other reviewers within project time periods.
  4. Manage (initiate, coordinate and resolve) in cooperation with SURF interface lead; all interfaces arising from the design of the wellheads, Xmas Trees, Tubing hangers and IWOCS (mechanical, electrical, control and monitoring interfaces).

Job Requirements

  1. First Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline. Master’s degree or an equivalent is an advantage.
  2. FEED & Detailed engineering experience in Xtree, Wellhead and IWOCS systems with operational experience in Deepwater offshore environment.
  3. Detailed Knowledge of API6A, 17D & ISO 13628-4-7 & ISO 10423.
  4. Technical Experience: Minimum 15 Years IWOCS & Knowledge of Offshore Subsea Drilling Engineering.
