{"id":11141,"date":"2022-07-14T14:25:12","date_gmt":"2022-07-14T13:25:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobnetworknigeria.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=11141"},"modified":"2022-07-14T14:27:43","modified_gmt":"2022-07-14T13:27:43","slug":"accountant-at-greengates-group-limited","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobnetworknigeria.com\/job\/accountant-at-greengates-group-limited\/","title":{"rendered":"Accountant at Greengates Group Limited"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Greengates Group Limited is a multinational and majorly family-held equity company established over 22 years ago to provide world-class products and services in all the countries it operates.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Position: <\/strong>Experienced Accountant<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing financial statements, management accounts, Finance reports, and any adhoc reports.<\/li>\n<li>Accounting for Receivables and Withholding Tax credit notes as well as Accounting for Payables and other liabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and updating Annual Budget with inputs from Admin and other project departments.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and updating Directors\u2019 monthly Cash call to fund budget\/operations.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciling the budget to actual results of operations.<\/li>\n<li>Participating in and organizing the Annual statutory audit of the company\u2019s books of account.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with the External Auditors in respect of the company\u2019s annual statutory audit.<\/li>\n<li>Participating in and organizing the various Tax audits (FIRS &amp; LIRS) of the company\u2019s books of account.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with the Tax Auditors in respect of the firm\u2019s various Tax audits.<\/li>\n<li>Addressing any Audit queries raised by either External Auditor or Tax Auditors.<\/li>\n<li>Having an oversight function on payroll preparation and administration.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring prompt remittances of (VAT, WHT, PAYE, Pension, and Others)<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that the internal controls over the company\u2019s assets and resources are functioning and effective.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university<\/li>\n<li>ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Master&#8217;s Degree in Business Administration \/ Finance would also be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Have knowledge of Sage software; Tally, QuickBooks, Peachtree or similar.<\/li>\n<li>18 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a similar position.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate a high level of oral communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage the flow of people and business, liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding sensitive and confidential matters, and maintain effective working relationships in a high-volume environment.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, tact, discretion, initiative and sound judgement<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills including the ability to determine priorities, meet regular deadlines and take\/follow up action<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to contribute in a professional and collaborative way to a team<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to work long hours, under time and budget pressure<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be a hands-on person.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN200,000 &#8211;
