As a result of expansion and strategic initiatives aimed at delivering increased value to patients\u2019 experience, career opportunities exist for a high performing medical professional that can contribute to a rapidly growing organization.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Job Position: <\/strong>Laboratory Scientist<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: inherit\">Job Location:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">\u00a0Ikoyi, Lagos<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Medical Laboratory Scientist will be responsible for performing laboratory tests that provide physicians with information that assists them in preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases and maintaining patient wellness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform tasks, duties, and\/or complex tests in all areas of the laboratory assigned (hematology, bacteriology, microscopy, routine chemistry) according to established laboratory protocols and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Process specimens utilizing protocols and technical knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Calibrate, standardize and maintain instruments following established procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Perform quality control, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting protocols to ensure the proper functioning of instruments, reagents and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Validates and reports results of tests performed.<\/li>\n<li>Delivers patients reports according to times indicated in policy and collection manual.<\/li>\n<li>Researches and develops new procedures as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate must possess a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)<\/li>\n<li>Hematologist Preferred<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must possess current practicing license.<\/li>\n<li>Should be able to perform hematological, chemical pathological, and microbiological analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Years of experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3 years post qualification\/NYSC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies and Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and use of laboratory automation<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use good judgment and work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Attention to details<\/li>\n<li>An uncompromising focus on excellent service delivery<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional client interaction and relationship management skills<\/li>\n<li>An innovative approach to resolving challenges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n26th March 2021.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letter to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:info@anadach.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">info@anadach.com<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>using &#8220;Laboratory Scientist &#8211; Lagos&#8221; as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
