Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Lead, supervise, mentor,\u00a0coach\u00a0and\u00a0evaluate\u00a0engagement teams on financial audits of Energy, Utilities & mining companies using International Standards on Auditing (ISA)<\/li>\n
- Lead accounting\u00a0Advisory\u00a0and other\u00a0Assurance Engagements.<\/li>\n
- Serve as\u00a0effective\u00a0liaison and representative between the firm and the client.<\/li>\n
- Work harmoniously and productively within a team;\u00a0providing\u00a0necessary\u00a0supports\u00a0to superior and\u00a0motivate\u00a0less experienced team members to deliver their work in the most efficient and effective manner.<\/li>\n
- Exercise sound judgment by\u00a0making decisions\u00a0throughout the engagement, including\u00a0assessment\u00a0of engagement risks, design and selection of audit procedures necessary to arrive at a desired level of assurance, and evaluation of documentation and audit evidence received.<\/li>\n
- Preparation and 1st level review of complex\u00a0consolidated\u00a0IFRS financial statements.<\/li>\n
- Work with partners and engagement managers regarding project management, including scheduling,\u00a0staffing\u00a0and the engagement budget.<\/li>\n
- Proactively interact with key client\u2019s management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.<\/li>\n
- Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, conferences, and\/or other thought leadership materials.<\/li>\n
- Demonstrate\u00a0professional demeanor towards duties and responsibilities, particularly\u00a0with regard to\u00a0independence, professional ethics, and the exercise of\u00a0professional\u00a0judgment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- ACA\/ACCA\u00a0qualification (or equivalent)<\/li>\n
- Must\u00a0be working\u00a0or have worked in a\u00a0consulting\/Audit\u00a0firm – with 4 – 5 years professional experience in\u00a0external\u00a0audit of organisations in the Energy, Utilities & Mining sector<\/li>\n
- Have deep technical knowledge and understanding of the application of relevant\u00a0International Financial Reporting Standards<\/li>\n
- Demonstrate\u00a0an understanding of regulatory pronouncements\u00a0that are\u00a0applicable to Energy, Utilities & Mining companies<\/li>\n
- Focused and initiative driven (required to maximise growth potential)<\/li>\n
- A passion for delivering an exceptional client service<\/li>\n
- Good analytical and organisational abilities<\/li>\n
- A proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients<\/li>\n
- Effective communication skills when working at all levels<\/li>\n
- Possess the ability and maturity to resolve conflicts on engagements<\/li>\n
