Job Position: Business Development Executive

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Responsibilities

  1. Looking for a business development associate to focus on building relationships with shopping centers and real estate companies. Source qualified leads for placing vending machines in locations throughout the United States.
  2. Ideal candidate must know how to navigate more than one contact to reach decision-maker by phone and email. Candidate must be comfortable with Outlook, CRM systems, and utilizing online tools to gain the best possible contact information for prospects.
  3. This position pays bonuses for vending units that are placed.
  4. The end objective is the Business development representative will convert to a relationship manager and maintain the relationships monthly.
  5. The job will require 40 hours a week Monday through Friday.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing
  • Extensive and diversified background with at least 10 years of related experience.

Other Requirements:

  1. Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
  2. Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  3. Meet with customers/clients over the phone
  4. Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
  5. Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  6. Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  8. Must be good with Computers
  9. Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them
  10. Strong problem solver and desire to learn
  11. Proven experience working as a Business Development Officer or similar role.
  12. Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
  13. An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
  14. Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
  15. Written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
  16. IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets
  17. Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work
  18. Decision-making skills
  19. Must be a “self-managed” team player comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  20. Must be able to commit to dynamic schedules
  21. Excellent English communication skills verbal and written and be Effective communicator to United States audience
  22. Must have strong attention to detail
  23. Possess the ability to learn and work on changing and emerging technologies.
  24. Follow standard procedures of their organizations to resolve issues by escalating them to the
  25. Provide accurate feedback to customers promptly.
  26. Prepare accurate reports promptly.
  27. Excellent customer service and client relationship skills.
