The gusto restaurant is located at No 43 Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent Wuse Abuja. It in a central part of the city which is easily locatable with adequate and convenient Parking.

Job Position: Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Job Location: Kano

Job Description

  1. As the Human Resources Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the human resources functions of our establishment.
  2. You will be responsible for assisting in recruitment, facilitating employee training and development, managing personnel records, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  3. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is dedicated to fostering a positive and productive work environment for our staff.

Job Responsibilities
Recruitment and On-boarding:

  1. Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  2. Coordinate new hire on-boarding activities, including conducting orientation sessions and preparing new hire paperwork.
  3. Work closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment and on-boarding experience for new employees.

Training and Development:

  1. Support the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff.
  2. Maintain training records and schedules, ensuring that employees receive necessary training in a timely manner.
  3. Assist in identifying training needs and opportunities for employee growth and development.

Employee Relations:

  1. Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and inquiries, and provide assistance or escalate issues as needed.
  2. Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and facilitating conflict resolution.
  3. Promote a positive work culture by organizing employee engagement activities and recognition programs.

Compliance and Record-Keeping:

  1. Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, including employee files, benefits information, and payroll records.
  3. Assist in conducting audits and assessments to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Administrative Support:

  1. Provide administrative support to the HR Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
  2. Assist with payroll processing, including verifying time-cards, calculating wages, and addressing payroll inquiries.
  3. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
