Job Position: Market Operations Intern

Job Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Description

  1. We need a Market Operations Intern to support the objective of our market operations which oversees all Retail activities through exchange trading and liquidity, settlement, reporting and other operations.
  2. An associate whose primary responsibilities are to support all operations as assigned by the Portfolio Manager in order to ensure maximum profitability and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities 
What your day-to-day at Quidax might look like:

  1. Ensure the seamless execution of all customer-related trades.
  2. Monitor the exchange to ensure that market orders are loaded correctly.
  3. Report liquidity and operational status as assigned by the Portfolio Manager
  4. Monitor all order book processes to prevent any issues that could lead to failed trades before they reach customer success.
  5. Maintain a daily trading blotter record of all retail trades.
  6. Track positions and profit and loss (P&L) for accurate reporting.
  7. Work closely with data analysts to provide useful data points in support of market operations.
  8. Assist in analyzing market trends and operational metrics.
  9. Collaborate with the Treasury team for timely market discovery.
  10. Assist in drafting rate trends and market analysis reports.

Job Requirements
What you need to have:

  1. Minimum 0-2 years’ experience in Trading Financial markets instruments.
  2. Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree
  3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  4. Basic understanding of financial markets and trading.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools is a plus.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
