Job Position: Finance Manager

Job Description

We’re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our finance operations and support executive leadership with insights that drive growth and efficiency. In this role, you’ll oversee a team and work cross-functionally to ensure sound financial management across all operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processesOversee day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions
  2. Analyse financial data to guide business decisions and ensure profitability
  3. Implement financial controls and procedures to support scaling operations
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project finance, funding, and costing
  5. Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team
  6. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
  7. Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting
  8. Drive automation and optimisation of financial systems and workflows

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/ACCA/CPA is a plus)
  2. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within the energy, power, or infrastructure sector
  3. Proven track record in team leadership, financial modelling, and strategic planning
  4. Solid knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and financial regulations
  5. Team Management
