The Thriving Stellar Woman Initiative (TSWI) is a nonprofit organisation committed to empowering underserved women and girls through entrepreneurship, digital skills and vocational training.
The organisation was established in response to the socio-economic barriers that prevent many women and girls, especially those from low-income and marginalised communities, from becoming economically stable. Recognising entrepreneurship as a powerful tool for economic independence, TSWI equips women and girls with practical skills, relevant information and support systems that enable them to build sustainable livelihoods.
Job Position: Social Media Manager

About the Role
Thriving Stellar Woman Initiative (TSWI), a human capacity development organization focused on empowering underserved women and girls, is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our team.
As our Social Media Manager, your primary responsibility will be to grow and engage our online community across various social media platforms, our ngo and for-profit platforms. Our brand guidelines, templates, and materials are already in place to support your work, making execution smoother and aligned with our voice and values.
This role is ideal for someone creative, community-focused, and capable of balancing dynamic content strategies across both nonprofit and for-profit social impact spaces.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective content strategies across platforms
- Create engaging, on-brand content for various social media channels
- Online Community nurturing
- Design graphics and craft compelling captions and copy
- Plan, schedule, and publish posts consistently
- Conduct hashtag and keyword research to improve reach and visibility
- Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns
- Monitor analytics and generate performance reports
- Capture, edit, and publish quality photo and video content
- Research and adapt to current social media trends
- Manage community engagement, including responding to comments and messages
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an HND / NCE / B.Sc. degree
- Minimum of 1 year of experience managing social media accounts
- Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
- Proficiency with social media tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later)
- Working knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Basic video editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Adobe, or mobile apps)
- Ability to take clear, high-quality photos
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Passion for social media, creativity, and continuous learning.
Salary
N70,000 / Month.
