Job Position: Accountant
Location: Oniru, Victoria Island – Lagos

Job Summary

As the Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing financial insights to support strategic business decisions.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and update financial records in accordance with accepted accounting policies and procedures.
  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  3. Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
  4. Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial data is accurate and up to date.
  5. Process payroll, tax filings, and statutory remittances (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension, etc.).

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or financial management.
  3. Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar).

Salary
NGN300,000 – NGN400,000 / Month (Net)
