Swift Consulting Limited – Our client in the FMCG sector is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Modern Trade Sales Representative
Location: Ogudu, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners, supervisors, and key decision-makers
  2. Manage and grow sales within assigned modern trade outlets.
  3. Conduct regular store visits to ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards.
  4. Execute promotional activities, in-store branding, and display arrangements.
  5. Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid stock-outs.
  6. Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  7. Track competitor activities and provide market intelligence to the sales team.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of OND in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  2. 1–2 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or retail distribution.
  3. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Good knowledge of modern trade/retail environments.
  5. Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
  6. Must be smart, friendly, and customer-oriented.
