Location: Rumukwurushi, Port Harcourt – Rivers

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements

The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of cost accounting, and the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Accurate and timely preparation of financial reports.
  2. Compliance with statutory requirements (taxes, filings, audits).
  3. Zero to minimal financial discrepancies or errors.
  4. Efficient management of inventory with minimal stock-outs or overstocking.
  5. Reduced wastage and stock losses through proper monitoring.
  6. Budgets were strictly adhered to, with cost-control measures implemented.
  7. Track production costs, analyse expenses, and advise management on cost control.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in an accounting role.
  3. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and taxation.
  4. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or industry-specific ERP systems).
  5. Excellent Excel skills and experience with financial modelling.
  6. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to a dynamic, high-volume environment.
  8. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Salary
N250,000 monthly.
