Job Position: Backend Supervisor

Locations: Port Harcourt – Rivers, Ilorin – Kwara and Benin – Edo

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and supervise the daily activities of delivery representatives to ensure maximum productivity.
  2. Provide first-line support for drivers on the field.
  3. Guide and assist drivers to ensure all reported issues are resolved promptly.
  4. Ensure all delivery trips are monitored from start to finish.
  5. Ensure that every other activity is required for the smooth.

Success Metrics:

  1. Monitor to resolution point at least 98% of all reported issues.
  2. Zero tolerance for errors and irregularities in delivery operations.
  3. Number of ideas suggested and implemented
  4. New learning/knowledge acquired/imparted
  5. Process Improvement initiatives
  6. Identification of business risks affecting the supply chain.
  7. Monitoring and enforcing conformity with all established delivery procedures and processes.
  8. Zero tolerance for lingering unresolved issues which impede delivery operations longer than the allowable limit.

Job Requirements

  • A University Degree or it’s equivalent in a relevant field.
  • At least 1-year experience in a supervisory role.
  • Quick decision-making skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and ‘own’ new technology and concepts
  • Knowledge of logistics operations
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy with a strong analytical capability
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
