Job Position: Business Development Manager
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Job Description
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Implement effective sales strategies, staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Identify and qualify potential clients, understanding their unique needs to provide tailored solutions.
Lead Generation and Pipeline Management:
- Proactively generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with the sales team for lead qualification and conversion.
Partnership Development:
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance service offerings.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements supporting business objectives.
Client Acquisition:
- Lead high-level client engagements and presentations to secure new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop compelling proposals and solutions.
Market Positioning:
- Contribute to the development of market positioning and differentiation strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events to enhance visibility and reputation.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets related to business development activities.
- Monitor financial performance against targets and implement corrective measures.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead, mentor, Role: Business Development Manager
- and motivate the business development team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the department.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 3 – 5 years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in, sales, or a related leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of the software development industry and market trends.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding business development targets.
