Job Position: Franchising and Business Development Officer

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Responsibilities
Franchising Responsibilities:

  1. Identify leads via cold-calling, networking, events and/or other sources and develop relationships with HNIs for the purpose of investment, partnership and expansion of the company’s franchise.
  2. Prepare financial analysis for potential investors showing the cost analysis and projected Return-On-Investment.
  3. Onboard new franchisees and ensure continuous support by providing them all the necessary tools and information to start store operations.
  4. Liaise with the Operations team including floor staff and providing relevant data and guidance for franchise store business improvements.
  5. Continuous improvements in SOP systems and processes to optimize revenue, minimize wastage, and productivity efficiencies.
  6. Oversee Category Buying, Supply Chain, and Merchandising to ensure stock availability for franchise stores.
  7. Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute online, offline and in-store marketing campaigns to drive customer footfall through acquisition, retention and loyalty promotions, new product launches, new store openings, etc., with the aim to continuously increase customer footfall and retention.

Business Development Responsibilities:

  1. Site Selection for retail expansion in Nigeria, with the goal of maximizing potential customer foot traffic and turnover
  2. Manage relations with landlords, mall management, and building management, developers, and leasing executives for all stores in Nigeria to reduce tenant turn over
  3. Negotiate and review lease agreements, and other contractual agreements, as well as development of relevant agreements, procedures and reports.
  4. Identify and develop relationships with property leasing executives within targeted markets.
  5. Identify and engage good real estate agencies that can source for adequate and viable sites across Nigeria for store locations.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
  2. Minimum of 3 years work experience.
