Job Position: Customer Service Officer

Job Description

  • We are recruiting for a Customer Service Officer who can help us achieve our company’s financial goals. The ideal candidate for this position must be willing to work as part of a dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer service
  2. Resolving service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  3. Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  4. Using computerized systems to access the details of customers.
  5. Handling customer complaints, escalating to a supervisor when needed.
  6. Manage large amounts of incoming calls and live chats.
  7. Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
  8. Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
  9. Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods / tools.
  10. Meet personal / customer service team targets and call handling quotas.
  11. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  12. Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, or social media
  13. Use telephones to reach out to customers and verify account information.
  14. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
  15. Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
  16. Providing feedback on the efficiency of customer service process.
  17. Take the extra mile to engage customers.

Job Specifications

  1. Minimum of B.Sc / HND in related field
  2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar role(NYSC experience acceptable).
  3. Experience with a CRM tool.
  4. Tech-savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  5. Goal oriented so as to meet daily targets
  6. Excellent communication skill (written and oral)
  7. Patience, ability to manage stress and negotiation skill.
  8. Open to working on Saturdays when required.
  9. Candidates around Ikeja, Ogba and Ojota axis will be preferred.
