Job Position: Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  • The ideal candidate will have a blend of digital marketing expertise and the technical know-how to manage website performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize online platforms.
  • This role requires creativity, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience in both marketing strategies and technical web management.

Job Responsibilities
Digital Marketing (60% of Role):

  • SEO & SEM: Implement and optimize on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings. Manage and monitor paid campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with content writers, graphic designers, and other team members to create compelling marketing content for blogs, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies to engage followers, grow online communities, and increase brand visibility.
  • Email Marketing: Design and manage email campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or other marketing automation tools.
  • Audio Visual Streaming : The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with live streaming software, specifically vMix, and a solid understanding of streaming to multiple social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook Live, Twitch, and others. You will be responsible for producing high-quality live broadcasts, managing streaming setups, and troubleshooting technical issues in real-time.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics using Google Analytics, SEMrush, and other tools. Generate reports and provide insights for optimizing future campaigns.
  • Marketing Automation: Implement and manage marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and convert prospects.
  • Technical Support & Website Management (40% of Role):
  • Website Management: Oversee website updates, maintenance, and content management using platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or similar CMS tools.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Provide technical support for website-related issues, including fixing broken links, resolving server errors, and addressing plugin issues.
  • UX/UI Improvements: Collaborate with web developers and designers to enhance the website’s user experience, navigation, and overall functionality.
  • Website Optimization: Ensure the website is optimized for speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices. Conduct regular performance audits.
  • Basic HTML/CSS: Edit web pages, create landing pages, and update content using basic HTML/CSS coding skills.
  • Security & Backup: Ensure website security measures are up to date and perform regular backups to safeguard content and data.

Job Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEO, SEM, content marketing, and website management.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, Shopify, or similar CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for basic web editing.
  • Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) and Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of CRM and email marketing tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • Knowledge of website optimization techniques and best practices.
  • Certifications: Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
