Job Position: General Manager (with Legal Background)

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Preparing and reviewing standard procedural documents for daily operations.
  2. Supervising staff performance across all levels.
  3. Reviewing and approving departmental budgets.
  4. Releasing requested funds for company expenditure.
  5. Overseeing procurement and staff recruitment.
  6. Overseeing staff training and development programs.
  7. Reviewing periodic reports and adjusting operations to better meet company goals.
  8. Conducting periodic employee appraisals.
  9. Oversee day-to-day operations.
  10. Design strategy and set goals for growth.
  11. Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
  12. Set policies and processes.
  13. Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
  14. Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
  15. Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
  16. Direct the employee assessment process.
  17. Prepare regular reports for upper management.
  18. Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
  19. Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).

Job Requirements

  1. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law
  2. Operational management experience is required.
  3. At least 6 years work experience.

Salary
N200,000 – N220,000 monthly
