Job Description
- The Fund Manager (based in Nigeria) is currently managing millions of dollars (Naira denominated) Fund and is in the process of investing capital across a variety of infra sub sector.
- The role requires a commercially astute individual with strong planning and analysis skills, able to look beyond the numbers and understand the wider business context that results in effective business partnering.
- Responsible for strategic planning and performance management processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops efficient embedded systems for data transparency throughout the organization
- Provides curated actionable information and analysis to the board and management with the objective of continuous improvement in decision making and financial performance of the organization
- Manages the organization’s performance dashboards.
- Customizes dashboards based on target audience
- Participate in setting Ecologique’s finance strategy and objectives
- Preparation of rolling forecasts by taking the ideas and strategy and translating them into meaningful financial information such as profitability, balance sheet growth, growth impacts
- Challenge the plans of business units and integrate those plans into the Ecologique business plan
- Develop and implement reporting of key management information ensuring data integrity and timely communication to relevant stakeholders
- Develop and monitor performance benchmarks for business units
- Develop reporting dashboards and monitoring systems for new projects, business units and customers
- Performs any other duties as assigned on approval of the board.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University
- 8+ years related experience in financial management and analysis
- Strong data analytics skills (Advanced Excel, Power BI)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cost cutting/management initiatives – strong finance management experience
- Strong project management/development experience
- Experience working with a startup.
Salary
N1,500,000 – N2,000,000 (based on qualification and wealth of experience).
