Job Position: Graphics Designer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  1. Create guidelines for how logos and other branding materials should be displayed and used.
  2. Study design briefs and determine requirements
  3. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
  4. Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand
  5. Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
  6. Work with staff to produce the final design
  7. Test graphics across various media
  8. Amend designs after feedback
  9. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  10. Schedule projects and define budget constraints
  11. Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  12. Help make design choices (e.g., fonts and colours) for all content that will be used.

Job Requirements

  1. At least 3 years of work experience.
  2. Must be a Graduate
  3. Proven graphic designing experience
  4. Knowledge of UI/UX.
  5. A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  6. Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  7. A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  8. Excellent communication skills
  9. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  10. Understanding of layout, design, and typography
  11. Understanding of the digital and print requirements for formatting
  12. Interactive media to create motion graphics, animation, audio, or video games
  13. Basic knowledge of HTML; coding experience is a plus
  14. Able to make good design choices (e.g., fonts and colours) for all content required of you
