Job Position: Head of Business
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Objective

  1. The Head of Business will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategy, and growth of the organisation.
  2. This role demands a results-oriented leader who can drive efficiency, ensure effective cross-functional collaboration, and lead business transformation initiatives.
  3. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in executing the company’s vision and expanding its market presence.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage daily business operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the organisation’s goals.
  3. Collaborate with department heads to set performance targets and monitor outcomes.
  4. Analyse internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement.
  5. Support and guide teams in Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Customer Service.
  6. Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
  8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry standards.
  9. Identify growth opportunities and oversee business expansion projects.
  10. Champion a culture of performance, accountability, and innovation.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA or professional certification is an added advantage).
  2. Minimum of 5–7 years in a managerial role, with strong experience in operations, business development, or strategic planning.
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex business processes.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proficiency in data analysis and business performance tools.
