Ultimcred Limited, a FinTech company that offers financial services to its end users, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Human Resource Business Partner

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepare Accurate Attendance Report for the center you work with and send to the compensation and benefits team as at when due.
  2. Follow through with the Exit Leave, Sick Leave, Bereavement Leave and Marriage Leave; and ensure people adhere to it.
  3. Leave monitoring of all staff and ensure they all comply with the company policies. Wherein they default in any of the policy, notify them and ensure the right sanction is administered.
  4. Provide the necessary support needed by the HRBP Lead.
  5. Attend all meetings, trainings organized by the department and contribute effectively during each session
  6. Prepare daily and weekly report of your activities. The daily report should be submitted via the Wecom Application, while the weekly report should be sent via mail.
  7. Act as a support for all other department, especially the business department in terms of people management.
  8. Render first aid to employees who require such wherein it is deemed necessary.
  9. Lead employer branding initiatives.
  10. Own, drive, advise and support line managers through the annual HR processes around performance, promotions, bonus, annual pay, potential assessment, succession planning, Engagement survey, etc.
  11. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  12. Handles employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  13. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, exit interview and investigations.
  14. Maintains compliance with company policies, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended bestpractices.
  15. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  16. Support employee engagement program

Interpersonal, Relationship Management & Collaboration:

  • Relate and liaise with external agencies on Human Resource matters.
  • Relate with employees of UltimCred Limited on HR matters

Communication:

  • Compliance to and communication based on HR best practice.

Customer Focus:

  1. Assist and manage third party vendors on HR projects
  2. Ensure Internal Customer Satisfaction
  3. Provide support for all staff
  4. Resolve employees’ issues and be the go-to person for Human Resources administration

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business administration, Social Science or related field
  • 1-2 year work experience in HR
  • Functional knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and its specific application in a work environment

Competency, Skills and Certifications:

  1. Global and local Certification in Human Resource Management (CIPM, SHRM,CIPD) is an added advantage
  2. Business Acumen
  3. Human Resource Information System
  4. Human Resources Administration
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skill

KPA:

  1. Percentage of employees and organizational performance achieved.
  2. Increased employee satisfaction survey index
  3. Percentage of employees considered to be highly motivated
  4. Percentage of key process fully automated
  5. Average revenue per employee
  6. New hires performance evaluation scores after 6 months
  7. Cost savings on project budgets

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 / month.
