Job Overview
We are recruiting a seasoned and strategic Human Resource Manager to take charge of the full spectrum of HR functions within the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key areas such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organisational development.
This role is instrumental in cultivating a positive workplace culture, driving key HR initiatives, and ensuring that human resource strategies are effectively aligned with overall business goals.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic HR Management:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business goals.
- Partner with leadership to support organisational growth and workforce planning.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding.
- Ensure talent acquisition practices attract high-quality candidates and align with company culture.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Promote a positive organisational culture through engagement initiatives.
- Address employee concerns and grievances in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to labour laws and company policies.
Performance Management:
- Lead the performance review process and help managers set goals and development plans.
- Identify training and development needs; support career progression programs.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Develop and manage competitive compensation structures and employee benefit programs.
- Conduct market analysis to ensure salary competitiveness and fairness.
Compliance & Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, health and safety regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain up-to-date HR documentation, including policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
HR Operations:
- Manage HR records, reports, and analytics using HRIS.
- Oversee payroll inputs and liaise with finance or payroll teams as needed.
- Monitor key HR metrics and report to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8–10 years’ HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Membership of CIPM or equivalent HR professional body required.
- Other HR certifications will be of added advantage.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and laws, including recruitment, talent management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, employee engagement, and compliance.
- Strategic HR planning and execution skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities. Providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to the HR and Administrative team and the entire workforce.
- Ability to think strategically, aligning HR with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
Remuneration
- Salary Range: N400,000 – N500,000 per month
- Benefits: Pension, Health Insurance.
