Fadac Resources and Services Limited – Our client is a group of companies in Nigeria. Due to expansion, they are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Human Resources Executive
Location: Sagamu, Ogun

Job Responsibilities

  1. Partnering with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and develop recruitment strategies accordingly.
  2. Conducting interviews, background checks, and overseeing onboarding processes.
  3. Maintaining up-to-date HR records, employee files, and HRIS systems.
  4. Overseeing the preparation of employment letters, contracts, ID cards, and other HR documentation.
  5. Managing leave administration, attendance records, and ensuring proper documentation.
  6. Ensuring strict compliance with Nigerian labour laws, maritime regulations, and company policies.
  7. Monitoring and evaluating performance improvement plans and probation reviews.
  8. Working with managers to set KPIs and track employee performance metrics.
  9. Leading end-to-end recruitment processes for both technical and non-technical roles, including seafarers, port staff, drivers, logistics coordinators, etc.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in a logistics/shipping company
  3. Strong understanding of HR functions and employment regulations within the shipping & logistics industry.
  4. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Familiarity with maritime labour conventions and seafarer HR documentation is an added advantage.
  7. Knowledge of HSE procedures and workforce risk management in logistics operations.
