Job Position: Pizza Chef

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas using fresh dough, sauces, and toppings according to company recipes or custom orders.
  2. Ensure all ingredients and food items are properly stored, labelled, and rotated to maintain freshness and food safety.
  3. Operate and maintain pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  4. Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and handle high volumes during peak hours.
  5. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely preparation of all menu items.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and comply with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  7. Monitor food quality and portion sizes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies when needed.

Job Requirements

  1. Interested candidates should possess a First School Leaving Certificate with 3-5 years experience.
  2. Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a restaurant.
  3. In-depth knowledge of different pizza styles (e.g., Neapolitan, New York, pan) and baking techniques.
  4. Ability to work in a high-pressure, delivery-focused environment.
  5. Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP knowledge is a plus).
  6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistency and quality.
  7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  8. Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.

Salary
N150,000 / Month.
