Job Description

Our client is seeking a Sales Executive to ensure the commercial success of the allocated brand of vehicle, identify new markets/ business opportunities for both sales and after-sales department, and will also play an active part in the development of short – medium – long term business goals.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Effectively manage relationships with existing customers
  2. Develop relationships with prospective clients and maintain the existing customer base
  3. Identify and secure business opportunities for the organisation
  4. Collaborate with GM Sales to secure, retain, and grow accounts by understanding clients’ needs
  5. Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets through effective competitor research and business environment analysis
  6. Prepare/submit weekly reports on sales and competition activities
  7. Organise and execute trade visits/calls
  8. Make sales presentations and customer analysis reporting
  9. Ensure proper and up-to-date record keeping of the customer database
  10. Generate Proforma Invoices and customer follow-up
  11. Follow up with online lead generation
  12. Establish customers’ needs and allocate products accordingly
  13. Generate business leads and follow up on sales opportunities
  14. Organise meetings with prospective clients and make product demonstrations
  15. Adhere strictly to the company’s compliance policies and standard business relationship ethics.
  16. Provide strategic support on sales growth-related projects.
  17. Ensure effective implementation of practices, procedures, rules, and regulations is adhered to.
  18. Ensure good housekeeping and compliance with policies & laws are followed.

Requirements

  1. HND/B.Sc. in Science/Art/Engineering.
  2. Relevant professional qualifications would be an added advantage.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience
  4. Sales and Negotiation Skills
  5. Presentation skills
  6. Good knowledge of MS Office Packages (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  7. Knowledge of industry best practices and procedures.
  8. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Practice.
