Job Position: Sales Executive

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The holder of this role will be responsible for marketing print services to individuals, corporate organizations, government agencies and just about everyone in need of quality printing. He/she will approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business, while keeping good relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Meet with customers and determine their printing needs; propose recommendations, quantity, and process transactions.
  2. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via personal visits, telephone calls and emails.
  3. Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business; negotiate/close. deals and handle complaints or objections.
  4. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  5. Set up meetings with potential clients.
  6. Be abreast with trends and competitors and advice management on improvements strategies.
  7. Build and retain networks with different supermarkets for sales supplies.
  8. Work with the production manager to ensure that printing jobs of customers are attended to promptly.
  9. Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with management for strategic decisions.
  10. Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
  11. Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and provide customers with quotations.
  12. Source, prospect, and follow up on old and new clients.
  13. Establish new businesses and seal deals.
  14. Manage existing accounts and re-activate dormant accounts.
  15. Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products.
  16. Perform weekly/monthly market research and report findings.
  17. Reports on-field activities to the Head of Marketing and Management.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc. / HND in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a similar Degree.
  • 2 – 3 years of proven Post-Nysc experience as a Business Development Executive or Sales Representative.
  • Background in Media/ Advertising/Print Industry is an added advantage.
  • Experience using CRM software is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience in sales and marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience using sales software is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
