Job Position: Secretary
Location: Dolphin, Ikoyi – Lagos

Job Summary

The Secretary will provide efficient administrative and clerical support to the firm’s legal team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent typing speed, strong computer literacy, and attention to detail, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepare, type, and format legal documents, correspondence, and case files with high accuracy.
  2. Maintain organised filing systems (electronic and physical) for case management and documentation.
  3. Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and handle client communications professionally.
  4. Support lawyers with document retrieval, printing, and case referencing as required.
  5. Ensure confidentiality in handling legal documents and client information.
  6. Manage office supplies, coordinate logistics, and assist in general administrative tasks.
  7. Perform any other clerical duties as may be assigned by the firm’s partners or associates.

Requirements

  1. OND / HND / B.Sc.in Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, or any relevant discipline.
  2. 1–2 years proven experience as a Secretary, preferably in a law firm or professional service environment.
  3. Excellent typing speed and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  4. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. High sense of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
  7. Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
