Job Position: Senior Project Engineer
Location: Bonny Island, Rivers

Job Summary

  1. Support the Community Project Lead with managing the interfaces and relationships between the Project team, Asset and the EPC contractor.
  2. Support Community Project Lead in supervising the execution of the Project’s community projects in Bonny, Finima and other communities in line with agreements reached with respective communities to ensure scope, specifications and engineering standards are followed.
  3. Support Community Project Lead in supervising the execution of the contractor scope of community projects in Bonny, Finima and other communities in line with agreements reached between the EPC contractor and respective communities to ensure scope, specifications and engineering standards are followed.
  4. Support Community Projects Lead to ensure that the approved processes are followed during Engineering design, ITT/Bidding Stage and Project Execution.
  5. Ensuring to ensure all engineering design documents (Calculation report & Drawings) produced by third-party engineering consultants are reviewed within the stipulated timeline and are in line with the specification and design codes.
  6. Support Community Projects Lead in providing a layer of assurance to ensure engineering and construction contractors are supervised to deliver Safely to Quality, Budget, and Schedule.

Key Performance Indicators

  1. Multiple stakeholders, including Asset and EPC consortia.
  2. Involvement in a highly complex project delivered in a remote area/Island.
  3. Collaborative remote working with various worksites/offices.
  4. External relationships: EPC Contractor and Community Stakeholders.
  5. Timely delivery of high-quality work against very tight deadlines, maintaining excellence in analysis and task completion under pressure.  ▪Being able to manage multiple contractors and deadlines.
  6. Strong personal commitment to meeting deadlines and deliverables is an ongoing expectation.

Requirement

  1. University Degree in Engineering (Civil, mechanical, or electrical) with at least 5 years and above in oil & gas
  2. Must have experience in engineering design and construction supervision.
  3. Proficient and conversant with Engineering design codes
  4. A self-starter with outstanding communication skills in English and an ability to work in a team.
  5. Excellent in the use of computer applications such as the Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD,
  6. Committed to HSSE and Goal Zero.
  7. Certification in Project Management will be an added advantage.
  8. Excellent knowledge of the Niger Delta culture.
