Social Media Intern at Sahel

We partner with government agencies, private sector companies and leading international development organizations to conduct research, analyze policies, develop strategies and implement programs that promote sustainable food security and improved nutrition. We have worked on a variety of projects across West Africa, including in Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, and Senegal.

Job Position: Social Media Intern

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Responsibilities

1. Analyze the organization’s present and potential market
2. Create and schedule engaging social media content that ties into the organization’s strategies and goals
3. Prepare and submit estimates of costs of recommended social media content creation programs
4. Develop and manage competitions and campaigns that promote the organization’s brand, and/or services
5. Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and drive engagement
6. Suggest and implement new ideas to increase brand awareness and engagement
7. Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure brand consistency
8. Stay up to date with current trends and audience preferences that align with business goals
9. Provide monthly reports containing information and insights from campaigns and other strategies
10. Carry out other social media-related duties as may be required by management.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with at least 1 year experience.
