Job Position: Analyst, Treasury

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The role will involve supporting settlements across the group. The role will also involve daily cash positioning, FX execution and a relationship with the bank to address daily operational issues related to treasury.

Job Responsibilities 

  1. Liaising with the settlement and reconciliation team to obtain settlement due for the day
  2. Updating the cash position file daily to ensure the cash balances and outstanding settlements for the day are captured accurately
  3. Uploading manual settlements as per settlement file and deducting the bank charges due.
  4. Liaising daily with the bank to solve operational issues related to treasury.
  5. Executing the FX transactions
  6. Assist in updating of bank mandates in the region
  7. Ensuring that the liquidation from alternative payment methods and Aggregators is done in the region
  8. Involvement in cash flow planning and reporting
  9. Involvement in automation projects

Job Requirements

  1. BCom, Economics or applicable business-related courses.
  2. Minimum GPA of 2.1 (second upper class)
  3. CTP qualification added advantage

Must-Have Experience:

  1. At least  2-3 years of experience in treasury department
  2. Previous experience in Payments/Settlements/Back Office Role
  3. Knowledge of different payment types
  4. High competency of Outlook, Microsoft Office & Excel
  5. Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently

Experience that will count in your favor:

  1. Knowledge on Fintech operations
  2. Banking experience

Salary
N500,000 / month and above.
