Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  1. The Engineer will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of the company’s projects and operations.
  2. The ideal candidate will combine engineering knowledge with analytical skills to support project development, technical evaluations, and strategy implementation across various projects.
  3. This position reports to the Senior Associate and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Analyse technical and operational data to support ongoing and upcoming projects.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies, load analysis, and energy modelling to support project decisions.
  3. Provide technical input during project development and due diligence phases.
  4. Support engineering and regulatory documentation, including reports, technical memos, and submissions to relevant agencies.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, etc.
  6. Assist in tracking project performance, identifying technical risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
  7. Understanding of energy market dynamics, grid operations, and regulatory frameworks
  8. Hands-on experience with forecasting, load analysis, or asset performance monitoring

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum 2–4 years of experience in an engineering role.
  3. Only a first-class degree or a second-class upper degree will be considered
  4. Strong understanding of quantitative and analytical methods.
  5. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, PowerPoint
  6. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  7. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Exposure to the Nigerian power sector, regulatory environment, or infrastructure development is an advantage.

Salary
N350,000 – N400,000 / month.
