Job Position: Accountant
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Preparation of the Company’s Financial Accounts
  2. Analysing and interpreting Financial reports
  3. Preparation of periodical Reports viz: Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financial Reports
  4. Monitoring satellite Clinics’ financials
  5. Management of the company’s treasury
  6. Attending /following up with Clients
  7. Liaison with Government Agents for purposes of PAYE/Pensions and other statutory obligations
  8. Budget preparation and periodical Evaluations
  9. Preparation of Payroll
  10. Meeting with Bankers & Consultants
  11. Preparation & Remittance of the Company’s statutory obligations, such as: Pension, PAYE, Income

Reqirements

  1. BSc / HND Accounting with a minimum of 5years work experience in a reputable organisation.
  2. Membership of ICAN is compulsory (preferably chartered).

Tax & other Dues.

  1. Preparation/Posting of Journals: Accruals and Prepayments
  2. Creditor’s administration
  3. Raising/posting cheques
  4. Posting of Income & Expenses
  5. Updating of Ledgers
  6. Preparation of payment vouchers
  7. Bank Reconciliation
  8. Confirmation of payments
  9. General Supervision of the Accounts Department

Skills & Competencies:

  1. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
  2. Good knowledge of financial software.
  3. Attention to detail & thoroughness.
  4. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance,
  5. Excellent organisational & leadership skills.
  6. Outstanding communication & interpersonal abilities.
